With MyCloud you can easily access to the Public Shared Catalog. This catalog contain all supported and updated blueprints for all Operating Systems.
For specific purpose you can create your own catalog:
Go to MyCloud > Libraries > Catalogs > New
It can be interesting for :
- customized personal catalog
- to store Datacenter Centric Media (ART or SIB)
Note: You cannot use a media that is not on the same Datacenter than your Virtual Machine.
You can specify precisly where you want to put your catalog with the following option:
Go to MyCloud > Libraries > Catalogs > New > Pre-provision on Specific storage policy
Note: Your catalog size is only limited by your OVDC resource.
The best practice is to always use the faster Policy to store your images to increase drastically performance.
