With MyCloud you can easily manage our own existing environment.

Prerequisites: You must have Org Admin rights to process.

Importing an existing VM:

  1. Go to your Datacenter > Library and import new vApp Template:

Note: you can import in OVA format Only.

2. Select the imported vApp and then click on Create vApp:

You’ll enter into a wizard to precess to the deployment.

Export your VM.

  1. Go to your oVDC > vApps and right click on the vApp Container:

Note: You must scroll to obtain to the bottom of the menu.

Trick: Only POWERED OFF vApps can be imported or exported so if you need to export only one VM from a vApp that contains more than one, move it to a new empty POWERD OFF vApp jut to download it.

Exporting process place the vApp on a special transit storage. It can take some time so be patient…
